It seems she is my roll model.

Teaching me how to live,

I’m His because she taught me;

Humbled, through her humility ---

And I dearly miss her!

January first ... and it is snowing
muffling the sounds of the world.
Tiny bullets of white, half-horizontal
piercing through grey
against white of house behind us.

Only color is the darker grey of trees
or beige of another home
or metallic red of decking.

White, greys, monochrome silence.
